It is that "aha-oh ho" moment, or that light bulb turning on in the mind. This is true to an extent. Einstein, for example, really did get flashes of insight while shaving in the morning. Of course, he was working on the particular problems he had insight into. In other words, the innovations he came up, no matter how "sudden" the insightful idea was, came from past and present mental work. Innovative people only have "sudden" flashes of insight and new ideas because they have habitually worked and thought in certain ways for some time. To become an innovative thinker, then, why not start cultivating those mental habits from now? Posted on 30th of March,2009. Retrenchment: Not a solution? Considering the tough economic scenario, the more serious consideration goes to retrenching employees. We are also aware of the fact that it will deeply affect the morale of other employees. Some employees working in MNC's have expressed their willingness to accept salary cuts, rather than terminating staff from services.Pink slips should really be the last resort for any company to survive in a recession. The fact, that employees have come forth to save the jobs of their colleagues, is indeed a gesture of solidarity. Instead of thinking out of the box and weighing other expenses, No matter how fair you try and make the process, there is always an element of subjectivity. It will impact the morale of other staff as well as affect you in the long term when you try to hire employees again, post the recession. This damage will be difficult to measure and curtail. You will only know of its impact when you will need to rehire and grow. Organizations in the service industry should never under estimate the damage they do to their reputation in the job market by firing during bad times. People join companies because of the company’s reputation, the role and salary but most often they leave because of their bosses,top guys in management, they work with! Whether this be an area of concern, this requires some serious initiatives on developing better quality leaders and a more conducive work environment for employees.

While speaking in Public: (it will deliver a good result, if you follow the below tips during public Meetings, discussions, presentations, more) One of the most important components of public speaking is the sound of your voice. It influences the impact of your message, and might even make or break the success of your speech. Fortunately, for many people, good voice quality can be learned.
Instructions : Breathe from your diaphragm - Practice long and controlled exhales. When you speak, use breath to punctuate your point. For example, take a breath at the end of each phrase whether you need to or not. Use that opportunity to pause and let the listeners absorb what you say.
Use pitch - Lower pitches generally are more soothing to hear. However, modulating your pitch for emphasis will keep your listeners engaged. Develop your pitch by practicing humming.
Moderate your volume - Find out if you speak too loudly or too softly. When you begin speaking, ask your audience how your volume is (each situation is different). Try to stay at the appropriate volume throughout your speech. Moderate your pace - This one is also closely related to breath. If you speak too quickly, people can’t keep up. If you speak too slowly, people will lose interest. Record your speech to determine if you need to change your pace. Get feedback from others.
Articulate - Try exaggerating your lip movement to reduce mumbling. Practice articulating tongue twisters and extending and exaggerating vowel sounds. Become an expert at articulating tongue twisters as quickly and crisply as possible. Focus on the ones you find difficult.
Posture - Stand up straight and tall to allow full lung capacity and airflow. Record your voice repeatedly using different ways of speaking. Determine which one is most pleasing.
Practice breath control - Take a deep breath, and while you exhale, count to 10 (or recite the months or days of the week). Try gradually increasing your volume as you count, using your abdominal muscles—not your throat—for volume. Don’t let your larynx tense up.
