System Requirements

AJ Classifieds was written to use php scripting language and mysql database as a backend. These are multiplatform applications and this makes PMR a multiplatform web application too. It can run on unix or windows servers, the main requirements to install AJ Classifieds are

 

• ftp access: ftp access is needed to upload the script to your host via ftp protocol, sure you can unzip the script into the folder directly on your server if you have ssh access or have direct access to the console. You can use any ftp client you like, there are several things you need to know while installing the script, you can find these with the help of installation guide.

• Web Space: Minimum 10 MB (for system without any Data. 1GB is recommended because the system may have lot of product images)

• Bandwidth: 1 GB (2 GB recommended)

• Server Side Script: PHP 5.2 (Or Above)

• Operating Systems: Linux x86, x86-64 and Windows.

• Web Servers: Apache 1.3.x, Apache 2.0.x, Apache 2.2.x / IIS 6.0 (Or Above).

• Browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or Advance Versions, Mozilla Firefox 3.0.

• PHP Compatibility: 5.2.2, Safe_mode off, Memory_limit 32M or more.

• MySQL: 5.0 or Advance Versions, MyISAM storage engine.
